A Junkie with a Laser Pistol!⁣

Happy Spring all!!

I know we are past the first day of spring but it is actually just starting to feel like spring here! We are getting loads of April showers! I can’t wait for the shower to be over and we can work on planting our garden. With last years lessons I am sure this year will go better lol. We shall see!

So this one I had a little bit of a hard time drawing. Mostly because I wasn’t sure how to draw a junkie with a laser pistol. My idea would or could of just been a malnourished person with a laser pistol. Not really what the drawing prompt was saying. I suppose I could of just changed the words but that would be cheating!!

So I was like okay what could we do for this. I suppose someone doing the drugs? ok ok uh what are the ways of doing drugs that would be clear as of what would be happening with just pen to create it. I am sure I could of portrayed many more things like my original idea much easier with digital art or not just pens… Eventually I decided this would be easiest cause as much as I am challenging myself I would like to not give myself a task that I was not yet ready to handle.

I had fun drawing the laser pistol. Maybe sometime soon I’ll give myself the challenge of drawing objects I normally would not draw. Especially since I tend to draw a lot more fantasy items. Maybe next year? I have this year pretty much planned out for what I am going to do… yeah I’m that type of person….
