Eat More Salads!

Happy holiday week!!

Today’s post is more of an artsy craft than just digital art! I finally got around to drawing up all of the mason jars. I tried curing them in the oven with no luck on any of the ones that don’t use white sharpie so I will br touching a few up and spraying them with some clear acrylic.  I am thinking that if I sell these I would use the less see through paint sharpies. I know that take a little of the fun away, but I think they would still look nice.

This one has ingredients on the other side it just didn’t fit well on this format so I didn’t include it.. I feel like you get the feel of it with just this.

I started to experiment a little bit with mixing colors on this to make colors I do not own at the moment. It was a lot of fun.

These two I just played around with colors and fonts. I really like both of these guys a lot!

Alright so lessons learned is that if you don’t have the paint sharpies the curing process does not work. I had read that it did but you couldn’t scrub. These were lies.

I hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving with those they hold dear! A reminder that I will not be posting on Thursday this week and we will be back to our normal schedule of Tuesday and Thursday next week!!

Another big reminder is be sure to check out my stores and the other artists on RedBubble and Society6. The prints make unique gifts and you are supporting an artist (not a big box brand)!

Until next time, safe travels and good luck on all of your endeavors,
-The Sonne Faun
