Good Afternoon all!!

So I was surfing the web and saw this absolutely beautiful blue dahlia ceramic set. The set online is worth thousands of dollars. So I was pretty sad about that. When I went to the pottery place the other weekend I thought it would try it out. I am crossing my fingers so hard that they work out! I could make it into my doggie at the groomer project!

Because of how glazes work on pottery I wasn’t able to do the piece the same as that one artist… However I think I figured out how to do it by painting the over all silhouette and then slowly lifting the glaze from the pottery in small brush strokes! I have debated doing a set of four in the blue and a set of four in another color I am just not sure what the other color would be. I think that an orange or a maroon would be really cool. When you set the table the plate would be blue or the other color and the bowl would be the opposite. It would also be cool to do some serving dishes as well. Big plans!!

I have some cat art that I have been working on the past week. I am trying to decide how to share them with you. I have this really cute cat face that I did in a whole bunch of different colors and plaids. I was thinking of doing one post but I feel like that would be a wall of text. So I might break it up into a bunch of mini posts. Let me know what you think!
