Happy Thursday,

Hope everyone’s week has been going well! My nesting urges are in full swing! Along with my wanting to sleep a lot. Really conflicting!

Today’s post is a throw back art to when I was in high school. I am not sure what year. I was learning on how the matte pieces back then so maybe sophomore year. I know it was earlier in my delve into realism due to hiding one eye with hair and some of the very obvious shading and anatomy issues. But hey I’ve grown because I can now see these issues! At least that is how I try to look at it. Trying to stay positive as an artist is a hard road considering you see other people’s art work and fall in love with theirs, but you never know if they love your style as well. So it’s good to look back to see how far you have come and good to be kind to yourself!
