So this is the second throw back thursday. I decided to do a piece that started me down the path for style that I am on now… I used to so a ton of anime style, so perhaps that previous statement is a lie…. However I started really doing this style the realistic coloration in black lines…

I did this piece back in 2005 so it is older than the one I posted last week. This is fan art of my Guild War Monk : Lady Evee. I started putting in my detail (or tried to) into the coloring and the character.

The shading I hadn’t started using the opposite color for yet. I feel like you can definitely tell. The shading isn’t as rich or deep as it could be… I will stop myself because I could go on and on about what could be changed on this…

This is actually one of the rare pieces that I still like after all this time. Also one of those pieces that I am curious on if I re-drew it how different it would look… Anyways I will leave you with this. Enjoy!
