Foxy Angles

I saw this at the pottery place I go to (which my friend owns), and I had to have it. Side note: whenever I hear “had to have it” I think about that insurance commercial. Recently I have had to watch a lot of T.V. due to being sick so I see it way too often. Anyways on my Amazon wish list I have “hearted” a faceted fox and cat that look just like this.

The price at my friend’s place was a lot cheaper than the Amazon one, so of course I was all like hells yeah this is mine! Once we got it I was like now I have no idea how to paint it. I joked that I just wanted her to dip it so it stayed white ish (because that’s how the amazon ones are).

In the end my husband suggested I go old school gaming and paint each of the facets a different color. I got to experiment with mixing the colors together for this. I have to say it was really fun but I feel like in normal circumstances I would be nervous about it. Mostly because well I have a thing about stuff turning out exactly like I imagined it.

I actually really like the odd shades of orange these made. I didn’t use any black in the oranges / yellows just different mixes. This makes some of the mixes confusing to me but in the end it all worked out and I have a super cool / classy polygon rendered fox.

Until next time, safe travels and good luck on all of your endeavors,
