Hey guys so this piece has been in my head for over a year now. You read this correctly a whole stinking year. I have to give myself credit though… USUALLY whenever I have an idea in my head so long I go to actually draw it, and….. I get a block. It is like what ever I do I can’t draw it… Especially the way that I have had it in my head for so long…. And then I just get frustrated and walk away.

So here it is! This really isn’t meant to be sexual. The avatar in and of herself has fur over all of her jiggly bits? Is that a word you could use?….. Going with it! I always pictured her trying on human clothing and drawing her in silly costumes. However this image.. This exact image of her sitting and trying on a blouse had been in my head for too long.

So difficulties with this piece.. I feel like I should start highlighting these when I talk about the piece. Her feet…. Human feet are hard enough to draw due to angles (Which I feel like I have gotten some how magically better at drawing after the hiatus, but that piece is a different post). But I haven’t had much practice at all with drawing deer feet… or any feet that aren’t dog, cat or horse. I had to actually re-draw her feet 5 times… Resisting the urge to redo them now as we speak.

I am actually oddly glad that I did not draw this sooner. Why? I just don’t think that I was in the right head space to draw this correctly last year.. I also feel like I have also slowed down my process for drawing. I try to draw one to two hours a day, and during those hours I pick one part to concentrate on. I am honestly really excited to share it in color next week! I should have all the final little touches done by then!  I almost can’t wait for everyone to see it! However I do like keeping the lines and the colors in separate posts at the moment. I really like being able to talk about both steps in the process without writing a wall of text like I am starting to now. Think this is a good place to end this post!
