Happy Almost Christmas Everyone!!!

This commission took me much longer than I had anticipated. Partly because it took me some research of the animals. Honestly my first attempt at drawing the eagle was laughable. It really looked like a four year old drew it….. And it took awhile, because I kept sneaking other pieces in. I knew the research and drawing / re-drawing the animals would take awhile. I did not want everyone not getting a post for weeks. Especially since I would like to keep up with the blog post schedule.

The person who requested this piece also requested the cartoon version of these animals you can see that piece here. The animals in the piece have significant meaning to his family.

I am happy with how this came out especially since it has been so long since I have done animals in a realistic way. I am definitely hoping to work on more realistic animals some time soon.

I will be working on getting the commission schedule and payment system all set in January! Keep you eyes out for the blog post update on this.
