Happy Tuesday!!

This week we announced a art challenge for echo Kraken Studios! Me and the rest of the team will be posting every single day for the next month. I figured I would do sketches. I am trying to bring it back to pen and paper art work for a little. I feel like its a nice way to refresh myself on the basics and come up with some original ideas that could become digital art work. I am posting the art challenge here. Please feel free to take part!! We are super excited to do this and would love to see other people’s art work. (can be digital, photography, etc whatever you feel comfortable doing!)

We will be posting the Seven Deadly Sins daily prompts soon. Be sure to keep an eye on the echo Kraken Studios instagram if you don’t want to wait til I post it on Thursday!

Alright enough house keeping!! Today I am revealing my Ann Boleyn background finished and I thought since the background would be finished I would also reveal it all together!! Especially since next month will be all of the Februblahs Art Challenge!!

I love this background. At first I was a littler leery of it while I was coloring it. However it seemed to take on this story book feel which I kind of really love. Especially once you add her onto it!! I really want to work with more backgrounds! I hope that I can work out a more realistic style with the lines.

Here it is all together guys!! See what I mean it is just too cool with her! I do love how this came out so much more than I thought I would. I never was that strong at backgrounds unless I was painting and even then I feel like they didn’t look amazing when you tried to add anything not background related to it.
