Happy Monday!

To those who have today off I am jealous! It would be nice to have a three day weekend. I completely forgot that we no longer get this day off with my company so I forgot to take it off. I could sneak in a sick day, but honestly I had to take a half day sick day last week due to being sick with a head cold so I’d like to save those for when I’m sick.

Today is the Fourth day of Pastry week! Today’s prompt is Financiers!! I am going to be honest with you guys… I’ve never had these either. I have however seen some in a few fancy cafe’s in Boston. I feel like I could make these they look rather simple, and tasty. Maybe a good lunch time sweet?
