I recently had an idea that I would like to make a water color of our new dog, Ariandel. She is super silly, fluffy, and blonde. So I sketched her out in one of her favorite poses while sitting around the house. I may do a few more sketches of her, because as we have her more and more of her personality is coming out. When we first got her she was so obsessed with squeaky toys. She still is now, but not to the gaurding state she was before. (She’s a rescue and had nothing of her own for a large portion of her life while she was as the shelter).

It was definitely a refresher course on drawing fluffy fur. I will definitely be working with her more often for fluffy dog poses so I can get even better at it.
